Just five more sleeps until we fly away on a Dreamliner to Perth to see what that's like in the middle of winter.

Well we've made it!!! 12.45 am your time but 8.45pm here. We're 4 hours behind you. Any time you want total flying comfort grab yourself a Dreamliner. They are so aptly named. A superb 7 1/2 hour flight over with excellent food and charming Kiwi service. It has obviously been flooding down here but obligingly stopped when we landed. We picked up our automatic Kia car and drove in the dark following the GPS woman's instructions. The Airbnb hostess was there waiting for us in her car and we followed her intothe gated aapartment block. Apparently we are right on the bank of the Swan River and will be woken in the morning by an avian chorus singing variations on Waltzing Matida! FB photos in the morning.
